If Your horse like the mobility offered by a loose ring bit, but you worry about pinching the sides of his mouth then this is the bit for you.

This bit prevents pinching of the lips and gives slightly more solid feeling against the side of the face which can assist when turning. The Eggbutt cheeks prevent the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The loose ring keeps the bit mobile in the equines moth and encourages gentle mouthing and discourages fixing against the contact. They also allow for immediate relief from the tongue and bar pressure when rein aids are relaxed, therefore rewarding the horse quicker for a correct response. The happy mouth tongue snaffle is designed with a medium port to create space for tongue.

This bit is suitable for horses with sensitive or larger tongues.

The blue sweet iron mouthpiece promotes salivation and acceptance of the bit. The material oxidises easily and warms up quickly in the horses mouth, creating a sweet taste.
